One year ago, at the age of 36,  I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  I had a double mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation.  I realize that I am one of the lucky ones - I had the knowledge and resources to battle my disease as well as a type of cancer for which there exists a highly effective treatment.  Not everyone is so lucky.

Last year, friends and family went "Over the Edge" for me.  This year, I am asking them to go "Over the Edge" with me to celebrate my recovery as well as to raise money to assist others who are facing cancer.
