You may be wondering why I’m willing to go Over The Edge at age 66. The reason is both Lin and my lives have been touched by cancer. Cancer claimed my mother Margaret, Lin’s father Ed and our sister-in-law Trisha. If I am successful in raising $1000 in pledges, then I will be rappelling down 30 stories. We are hoping the money raised by my efforts will help find a cure for this dreaded disease.
Another good reason for going Over The Edge, I will be landing on the patio of Katie Mullen’s Irish Pub and plan to have a cold Guinness waiting for me. I’ll let you know what time I will be rappelling so you can stop by to have a jar with me.
