In May of this year, Steve Markwell was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer.  A father of two young girls, and a beautiful wife at his side, Steve put up a valiant fight and took every opportunity to be treated for his disease.  Unfortunately, time was not on his side. After 3 short weeks of intense treatment, Steve lost his battle.  No family should ever have to experience what the Markwell family has been going through since Steve’s diagnosis, and ultimately, his death.  This is why I am going “Over the Edge” for Steve.  Every dollar raised through my efforts will be earmarked to fund grants for Esophageal cancer research.
